MBBS Admission in India
The MBBS course is a five-and-a-half-year course which leads to the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The first three years are spent studying basic medical sciences including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology and pathology. The next two years are spent in clinical training, where students rotate through different medical specialties such as surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and internal medicine. The final year is spent in internship, where students work in hospitals under the supervision of qualified doctors. The MBBS course is designed to produce competent medical doctors who are able to provide safe and effective patient care. Medical Admission Eligibility criteria
- According to the respective colleges/universities candidate must pass their 12th examination with physics, chemistry, and mathematics with minimum 45%.
- Percentage criteria varies from college to college but it shouldn't less than 45% in PCM/PCB.
- In India, the eligibility criteria for Engineering is totally based on rules and regulations of AICTE (All India Counselling for Technical Education)
- Candidates should be at least 18 - 24 years of age counted from the date of the examination.
